Rules
Dimensions
Cars shall not exceed...
7" in length
2 3/4" in width
6" in height
5.00 ounces in weight according to the official race scale
There must be 1 3/4" between each front wheel and rear wheel to ensure the car fits on multiple types of tracks
Cars must maintain 3/8" clearance from the track to the bottom of the car
Wheels
Wheels shall not be cut or drilled. You may remove any seams and imperfections from the wheels.
Wheels must be at least 1.16" in diameter and 0.38" in width.
Wheels shall not extend past the front or rear of the car body.
The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
Cars must be exclusively gravity-powered.
Any plastic-safe lubricant may be used. Any lubricant that is dripping, or oozing will not be permitted.
Body
The body shall not be shaped in a manner that extends past the starting pin.
Cars shall not impede the progress or otherwise interfere with other cars on the track.
Other
Cars must be built new each program year.
Cars may not be altered after passing inspection.
